Wicked Whims prevents sims going to work/school.

Hi, I'm new to the forums and I searched as best I could, but didn't find anything related.

Simply, with WW installed my sims can't go to work/school. When it's time to go they walk off to the edge of the "property" and disappear, but their icon at the bottom becomes "greyed out" (inactive) and soon enough the message appears that I'm late for work/school. Then the boss/principal calls because I'm not there. They also never "return" even after work/school hours are over.

The only thing I can do, in game, is travel somewhere before work and have them go to work from there (but that's very annoying to do every time, especially since returning from work is the same).

I know it's caused by WW because it happens with only when I have that mod active.

The only thing I can think of is that it might be related to another, minor, issue where sometimes my sim is done having sex, but the game thinks it's not done (despite being able to do other activities with no problems) so when I initiate sex again then only option is to have someone join in. When I click for another sim to join, they all instantly appear (no conversation or anything) at the location where the previous sex act was happening. I'm wondering if it's connected to that, like I can't go to work because I'm in the middle of sex?
