Infinite Death Loop SexLab Bug

Recommended Posts

It only triggers when I use the SL mods features. I have SL, SLDD, SLA, SLS, SLR, and the SL animations loader.

I run FNIS religiously.

Note:

I had a bug with AFT that said missing script and that it was likely a mod conflict.

I unsubscribed from it via Steam and used Nexus to get EFF, but the "forced follower" option was never active in MCM with no way to activate it, so I deleted from NMM's archive.

I reinstalled the AFT hoping the code would repair itself with a fresh install, but the same issue persisted.

Certain animations in the MYSLALPACK v12.0 caused CTD's even prior to the bug issue with the looping death's, I think it has to do with Sexlab Arousal, the feature what screws with you if you don't have sex (which is kinda stupid) seems to constantly alert me to the fact I need some tail, I'm not a sex addict so I don't understand the  feature or the reason for it. I can go months without pussy, this need to screw thing is a pain in the ass while sneaking, and only reason I have the mod was so another mod would work.

I think there is a conflict, and I have LOOT but the shit is Greek to me, like what the hell is a metadata cleaning going to actually do to my game?

I'm not a modder, my computer savvy extends only so far, and the Tes5edit thing scares the shit out of me!

To quote one of my favorite actresses: "I don't know what this fucking shit means!".

You may want to add your mod load order from Loot, as you may have an issue in your load order.  A papyrus log couldn't hurt either.

HERE  is a link to the S.T.E.P. guide for master cleaning with TESVedit.  It does help, though definitely be careful with it and don't do anything you aren't sure about.  Always backup your files and all that.  Follow the wiki and you should be fine though.

I'm not exactly sure what king of bug you are describing in your post, but it definitely sounds like something is screwed with your install.  NMM can do that when you are installing if you are not careful, as files from one mod can permanently overwrite files from another, and if you are somewhat careless during installation this can happen and screw your save pretty thoroughly.  It happened to me when I first started with NMM, and was the primary reason I switched to MO.

Post your LOOT order though for sure.  Maybe we can fix the issue.

Sorry for a very late reply, but my Wifi was at it's data limit shortly after my post.

Yeah, I'm not going to do much to my game using the TESVedit, it's creepy....

Turns out, my AFT bug auto-corrected, I have no idea how, but I did play it last in my load order after it appeared to activate properly and it runs fine now. But not early in character creation, new games need time to load up the code and apply it in gametime  hours I guess?

Whatever the case, the bug went away, but I have been using just one saved characters SG file, because I'm fearful of a recurrence. Thanx for the guide and the helpful reply.
