Can1s_Major Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I've been extensively modding Skyrim recently with a number of mods from Loverslab. It has by no means been a stable experience, but I've hit a point where it's unplayable. Basically, whenever I change cells, via any means except the coc command, the game CTDs. Attached is my load order and a few of my most recent logs. Hopefully someone can decipher all the gobbledygook in the logs and figure out how to fix the crashes. Thanks. Ashkandii Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I'm not some magical wizardy coder but I when I played Fallout 4 and Fast-travelled to the most dense area within down boston (where'd I'd hit like 8 fps) the game would 100% crash but i could play the game for 7 hours straight no crashes but try fast-travel insta-CTd So this brought me to the conclusion that fast-travelling gives off a Massive memory spike instead of Dynamically loading things it would attempt to load everything at once. So longer you play the game more memory builds up, your saves become larger files itll inevitably the game simply cannot handle the amount its being pushed at. So do you have SKSE.ini tweaks/ENBlocal tweaks/crash fixes/safety load ? (Safety load apparently isnt needed before but I always keep it on assurance)

Turn off autosave, it's most probably caused by it. Also, do you have any mod that changes all cells in some manner? Or maybe npc's?

Turn off autosave, it's most probably caused by it. Also, do you have any mod that changes all cells in some manner? Or maybe npc's? I doubt autosave is the problem, as I'm not using it. And no, no major cell altering mods. I'm not some magical wizardy coder but I when I played Fallout 4 and Fast-travelled to the most dense area within down boston (where'd I'd hit like 8 fps) the game would 100% crash but i could play the game for 7 hours straight no crashes but try fast-travel insta-CTd So this brought me to the conclusion that fast-travelling gives off a Massive memory spike instead of Dynamically loading things it would attempt to load everything at once. (Safety load apparently isnt needed before but I always keep it on assurance) The crashes happen the first time I travel after loading up the game, no matter what, and no matter where I travel to. I have crash fixes installed, no safety load. I will try it.
