Devorax Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 I'm trying to make a custom Snow Elf race, and I've come across a frustrating problem regarding the custom eye colors I'm trying to add to my mod. First of all, they don't show up normally in the racemenu. I've scrolled through all the eye colors in the racemenu and eye colors from every other eye mod I have installed are available - except for the ones from the snow_elf.esp I made. Second, I can get them to appear by loading a character preset I created previously, but they look absolutely stupid. See the picture below: http://imgur.com/6x5EZ57 Additionally, the eyes look completely and totally fine in the CK: http://imgur.com/pgyWXNg So why aren't they working or showing up in game? Lastly, I'm creating the mod in the CK. I've followed the directions from this guide as closely as I can: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_a_custom_race_for_Skyrim I tried backtracking and just duplicating a High Elf vanilla eye color headpart, then setting it to my Snow Elf race, but it still won't show up ingame. What am I doing wrong?
Devorax Posted August 30, 2017 Author Posted August 30, 2017 Despite the lack of help, I figured out what I was doing wrong. I used Argonian eyes as a base for my eyes. WHen I replaced their textures, it applied them to an argonian eye mesh or something, stretching them out like that. I fixed this by duplicating High Elf eyes instead, and replacing their textures instead. This time, the eyes fit the skull.
