Working version of this mod?

So I've tried all I could think of with this mod and it's not activating in the sense that I can't make him my follower.

Can anyone figure it out?

Sometimes you need to go up to the potential follower, save and reload.  That is a complete guess because I've never used that mod.  Hope it helps though.

I'll try that but my concern is he doesn't even talk.

Okay it didn't work. He just waves his arms and then I'm guessing dialogue is supposed to be said, but no dialogue comes out.
