Sunja44 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I want to give my PC a twin sister as follower (maybe I will add even more sisters). First I thought I could maybe use an existing follower mod and just change the appearance (meshes, textures etc.), but I want them as real twins (so not just appearance, but combat style etc. too) and in addition I read that it won't be that easy to attach head meshes created by Racemenu to a follower NPC. Of course I asked google and got some ok guides for -creating the follower in the CK http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Adding_a_Follower_NPC_to_Skyrim#Using_a_custom_hair_for_your_NPC https://levelskip.com/rpgs/Hot-to-Turn-Your-Skyrim-Character-into-a-Follower -for attaching Racemenu head meshes and textures to the created follower http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Using_a_face_made_with_Chargen_Extension_on_an_NPC_for_Skyrim In special I have the issue, that my current PC (with its apearance I am very satisfied) uses a Citrus head mesh for more polygons. I saw follower/NPC mods which use the Citrus head mesh, so it might maybe not impossible to copy such a thing to a NPC. I found this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/84202/? and it reads quite complicated and you might need a unique race character for that. So for the beginning a default Racemenu head mesh would be already ok. I just want to ask if these guides are still up to date and if there are others I don't know yet. So I would be glad of every up to date source posted here. I appreciate guides for unique race followers too. The above I currently want to create, don't need a unique race, but I have heard that it has advantages if you do so (for other followers in the future maybe).
Sunja44 Posted August 25, 2017 Author Posted August 25, 2017 Those are pretty awesome. Alone the first video already explains almost everything to take care of and the created follower is not dependable of a custom race mod, but how to make it dependable of a race mod is predictable.
