Skyrim Custom Race Help Find

I need help finding the best custom races for mage characters, I don't care if the race is female only or includes males I just want a great magic based race that would serve to expand the options for races meant for magic users.

I did a mage playthrough once with this race. Not inherently magical (anymore than your average animated doll), but the fights against dragons become epicly terrifying, and having to jump onto counters to talk to shopkeepers...

I don't think i'd play as them anytime soon I'm more interested in either elves or humans with pro mage stats.
