Making a patch for Diversifying Skyrim + face mods

So I want to use this mod as well as mods such as the Bijin series and Ordinary Women. Since they both have facegen data, how would I go about making a patch for them to coexist? Someone on the mod page said it's possible but just said to 'look for tutorials' - well I can't find any because I don't really know what I'm meant to be searching for. So I'm asking here.

So basically, how do I get the pregnant/baby-holding/fat NPCs to still have the pretty faces?

(btw I know the mod I linked is Special Edition but I thought I'd ask in the general Skyrim page because I assume the steps are the same either way)

The 'fat' is a body that is scripted to grow over time.

The NPC replacers you want to use also have body meshes. In normal use, you should install the Diversity mod followed by your NPC replacers in order of preference (last mod takes face priority), overwriting as you go. The last mod to overwrite facegen data should also be the last esp in the load order.

Then you need to swap the body meshes (which would would be still controlled by Diversity) into the Bijin and Neus meshes folder. Ensure the textures match your chosen body type, and you should be good to go. Not sure how this is done with a mod manager, but it should be about 10 minutes to do manually.

Ok that's actually really simple how did I not think of that. I use MO so it's super easy, almost the same as manual.

NPC Visual Transfer Tool is what you need for this. I used it to give Interesting NPC's the good looks as well as the character depth, based on a slew of pretty NPC mods, Ordinary Women among them.

How would I give an NPC their own face?

Okay so that won't work. The diversity mod has nifs called things like "farmer" or "barkeep" there's no individual character folders, so I'm not sure what I'd do with the nifs.

The person on the Nexus page suggested a patch with Creation Kit, TES5Edit, and Nifmerge, but I don't know the steps to make one. Idk. This is all I know.

Those folders are the clothes and armor. Both go into the meshes directory.

The game uses two bodies, one is for the naked body, the other is for clothes and armor. All NPCs wear the same sets of armor and clothes. The script controls which NPCs have growing bellies (I think so, I don't use Diversity and don't use prego mods myself) so that clothed NPCs will also have scaling bellies.

The Body meshes (usually under actors/character/character assets) only control unclothed NPCs, so not strictly needed to be swapped out but helps remove inconsistencies in the body.

Bijin stores its meshes in different ways, you can look at the archive structure to see where (Warmaidens, NPCs and Wives are not consistent with each other). You will need to place the files by hand, but not needed if you don't need to see pregnant naked NPCs.
