Hi all,

I'm looking to be able to equip seperate items of clothing on my character. I know this has something to do with equipment slots but I dont know too much about this and want to learn more. If anyone could give me a summary or point me in the right direction I would be very greatful.

Are there any guides out there that shows me how I can get seperate clothing set up? I want a more realistic system where my character would put on underwear, bra?, skirt, hose maybe? singlet, jacket etc... A system where each piece of clothing can be equiped/unequiped.

I'm also currently using CBBE with BodySlide so I guess the clothing would have to be compatible.

Thank you for your help.

Hey there. I've looked for something like that before, and remember being mildly disappointed by the results. The ones I've found are:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13378/? - Which is UNP only, unfortunately for your case and

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23173/? - Which separates greaves (pants) and chest armor pieces, but I haven't tested one.

But who knows? Maybe the modding wizards will see your plead and take an idea from it ;)

Thank you, I have seen these in the past but not quite what I want.

From what i've read it seems like a lot of people are looking for this sort of thing (Although thats the type of posts i've been reading so of course I will come to that conclusion). I wish I knew how to mod.

There are plenty of mods out there that have modular pieces like this.  Unfortunately its super common for pieces to clip through each other.  If you want to get into modding you could try fixing any clipping pieces you find in blender and if you pick that up you could get into making your own pieces.

Some good modular mods i recommend

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20415/?    ; unp but has a lot of modular sets

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60195/?   ; any mod by deserter x for that matter

there's also a new framework being worked on here that you might be interested in as well
