farranya Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 I am having a very strange problem with my skyrim all the sudden. The game was working somewhat Ok with just a random CTD every half hour or so but now the game doesn't let me play at all. This problem started since the day the computer all the sudden lost the video signal to the television screen. I didn't change anything other than let windows 10 auto update and I did not change any settings or mods other than update nexus mod manager to 0.63.14 but I fixed the crashing errors the day before after reinstalling mods manually. I was playing the game just fine and stopped playing to finish something but soon as I came back to the computer the screen went black with "No signal" right in front of me. It wasn't a power saver mode because that is turned off and when i pushed a button on the keyboard or mouse the screen wouldn't turn back on, I had to restart the computer by holding the power button down. I disabled all mods but the game still crashes when I choose new game. I also have times where stellaris stops responding but will continue as normal and metal gear online crashed for first time ever when I played that. My batman arkham night also crashes randomly ever since this has happen so this makes me think something has happened to my PC but I am not for sure.
RW311 Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 WIndows 10 can change hardware drivers during auto updates, this can cause a lot of problems with gpu drivers though.
