All mods not loading

Almost every time, I am able to solve my own problems, this time however, I cannot find a single solution.

It appears that my entire Skyrim game is now not loading any of the mods I have installed.

When started, it'll load up the main menu, but when any form of loading (new, load, or continue) occurs, it tells me that content is not loaded for the selected save.

The content this applies to includes the DLC's, patches, and all other mods I possess.

I believe this problem is coming from a menu replacer problem, or a skyrim_prefs.ini setting that is not allowing it to load.

All mods have been disabled and it still occurs, though the menu is still replaced (hence the belief that it is a replacer problem).

All I need are suggestions on what it may be, and I can solve it myself.

What mod manager are you using? MO, NMM?

I do not believe the menu replacer is causing the problem, my guess would be that normal INI changes that mod organizers do to allow modding have probably been undone somehow, or that your mod manager have some misconfiguration related to profiles or mod isolation.

Good luck

I use Nexus Mod Manager.

Any idea how to revert these INI changes to their normal pre-change state?

Thank you for your reply, by the way.

You didn't launch it somehow the wrong way did you? I know i had mod loading issues when i accidentally launched Skyrim directly rather than via SKSE, in it's drop down (in MO though), but I think NMM has a similar drop down. Silly me doing that, i know. Good luck.

It has been a long time since I made any change to those settings manually, I am pretty sure NMM handles those changes by itself. Other than that, NMM has an option under the Tools menu to reset archive invalidation, try that to see if it fixes anything.

But taking a quick look at my INIs I can spot a few settings that might be related (vague memories of editing these before there were mod managers).

In my Skyrim.ini:

[Archive]
sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa
sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa

In my SkyrimPrefs.ini:

[Launcher]
bEnableFileSelection=1

edit: dormousie Suggestion is a good one if you run SKSE, and you probably do since it's a requirement for a lot of modern mods with scripts. Like he said, check if you are launching the game thru SKSE, and if that doesn't help, it wouldn't hurt to reinstall SKSE.

Thank you to both of you.

I have been launching it using the SKSE tab in the drop down, unfortunately.

Also, the INI's show exact copies of the lines you posted, warhead.

I have now fully deleted the Skyrim folder (in "documents/my games") and let it regenerate, and the problem is still occurring, as you can see, it is an extremely difficult problem to find what it is.

Edit; While attempting to fix the problem, I copied my Data folder to a different location and deleted the original. Turns out it had only half-copied the original, and I now require a full reinstall of all my mods. Thank you for your help, anyway.
