varenne Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 "I'm working on the "two sides of the coin" quest in Bruma. I got myself thrown in jail, but when I try to sleep to serve my jail sentence, the game freezes. I tried a few times, but always with the same result. Is there any way to get around this?" I actually found this unanswered post else where on the web, but it sums up exactly what happens if I get jailed in Bruma (and other jails, see below). I used the console and a prior save to finish the quest, but here I had thought that previously the LoversTrueCrimeEX mod was the issue. Now I'm thinking otherwise, since that mod is not only not active but not even installed. Also occurs in Bravil, Chorrol and Skingrad jails but not IC Prison, Anvil, Chenydinhal or Leyawiin jails. Very weird. Anyone know if there is there a patch/fix for this? Playing a Cute Elf if that matters.
Guest Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Surprised no one's responded to this thread. Anyways, while I'm no gregathit, I'll try to help, but first, post your load order. We'll take it from there.

That's what I get for messing around with OMM at 2, 3 and 4 AM. Tested all jails today and voila!, fixed!
Guest Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Heh, your welcome (although I didn't do that much)! A bad load order is the bane of all oblivion games!
