petina Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 I'm using Enhanced Character Edit and none of the custom sliders appear at all. I've tried disabling every mod except ECE but the problem remained, so it's not a conflict problem. My CharacterMakingExtender.log states: skse_ExCharGen_plugin load ERROR: cannot access .ini. So I'm assuming the plugin DLL is successfully loading, but it can't find an ini file it needs. I'm not sure which, cuz as far as I can tell I have all of ECE's ini files.
petina Posted June 14, 2017 Author Posted June 14, 2017 Alright nevermind I fixed it, I just had to move ECE's ini files from MO into the actual data folder... I guess MO doesn't like inis in game data? Never had this problem before, weird.
labradoorhandle Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Thanks for getting back with your solution, this problem popped up with the new ECE version for SSE too and this helped me get things working. The problem is likely the old MO permissions problem. Simply creating an empty "CharacterMakingExtender" folder manually the game Data/Meshes directory got things working for me.
