NPCs redress during animations

So recently I have the problem that NPCs keep redressing during animations.

I'm positive that did not happen earlier on this save. As far as I remember the only thing I changed recently was putting SL Deafeat further down the load order so I tried reverting that and even deactivating Defeat but to no avail. I also tried disabling other mods that I thouoght might have a hand in this but no success either.

 

This only happens to NPCs though, not my player character.

 

Correction: It only happens to followers. So maybe a problem with EFF? Never had any trouble with it in the past though...

 

Any idea what the problem might be?

Edit: Ok looks like I found it. The naked follower fix for EFF was causing the problem. Not by itself (I know for sure that it can work perfectly fine with SL by itself) but in combination with (an)other mod(s) on my list. I might investigate further another time but for now I will just keep it disabled.
