LagrangeYu Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Recently, I had a hard drive disaster. I managed to restore as many mod as I can. The only mods left disabled are clothing one. So I guess it's fine. So I load my old save (let's call it save1). Everything seems fine. No facegen problem. Then I make a save (save2). I close the game and reload save2. Things look ok for a few second. Then all the problem comes, wrong facegeom, wrong facetint, missing head. I make a new game and try saving and reloading with custom npc. No problem after reloading. By elimination, the problem probably comes from my save1. Edit 1: Apart form this, I find that whatever changes in mod organizer seems not showing correctly in game, for example, even I change the body from UNP to CBBE, the in game body is still using UNP body. Anyone knows how to fix it?
Guest Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 The face data is stored inside two folders, one inside Meshes and one inside Textures. The folders have the name of the ESP/ESM and contain the data for each actor ID. Probably these folders are missing, or maybe the name of the esp is no more the same as the name of the folder.
Guest Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 You could try exporting the npc's facegen data with the CK as usually fixes tint issues. If it's just a select few custom npc's that's not too huge a process to at least test. But I dunno if it'll help if the issue is oddly on-off and has something to do with the save itself. Youtube thing on it in case you need a explanation and I'm too lazy to type it out.
LagrangeYu Posted June 1, 2017 Author Posted June 1, 2017 Thank you for reply. But whenever I start a new game or load old save, facegens are working as intended.
LagrangeYu Posted June 2, 2017 Author Posted June 2, 2017 Totally unexpected, the problem seems to be caused by an esp which has nothing to do with npc and facegen. Anyway, thank you for all the help.

Care to enlighten us which esp might cause a problem? :-D In my case, it is the slavetats 1.3.0 which is a beta version. I don't know how it is related, but after I switched back to the 1.2.3 (not-beta-version), everything works fine.
