Now, it's been years so yall will have to excuse my forgetfulness, but how in the bloody hell does one fix armor/clothes/robes that are invisible? I used to know...ffs. Anyway everything works dandy on my install except a few armors/robes. all the mages in the college are invisible save the arch. That's the main one that's bothering me, and I spent quite a bit of time googling it to see if i could find a related discussion. The rest of my armors are good. Advice would be much appreciated. [/quote'] Skyrim nifs have this BSDismemberSkinInstance node that has partitions that need to be set to something like SBP_32_BODY (most common one for chest armor). Is that the issue? That F'ed with me for awhile... Edit: Apparently I forgot it; but with the invisibility of all robe types, it includes the hood as well. So all i see is hands, feet, and the npc's head with the default hair for having headwear on. Makes me think it's simpler than I imagined now. It's highly possible. What is the best way to make the changes? Or just plain search and rename? Link to comment
Firedoom Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 In NifSkope in the Block List select a NiTriShape and expand it, then select BSDismemberSkinInstance and look under Block Details. There you should see an expandable detail at the bottom called Partitions. Expand that and you will see another Partitions, so expand that one too. There is a partition called Body Part. Set that partition to SBP_32_BODY. If there are any other NiTriShapes in your nif, set them all to the same thing. Hopefully that is your issue. Make sure to repeat that for both sizes of the armor yadda yadda yadda.... Link to comment
