Hair Clipping Issue

Hey folks, turning PC into a custom follower and I've run into a problem.

 

The hair on the PC sits perfect, but on the follower incarnation it slightly clips into her head on the left side. Its doing my nut in, and I have no idea what's causing it.

I'm fairly sure (Not 100%) that I have all the correct meshes and textures set up, her proportions look correct from PC-to-NPC its just that the hair clips for some reason that I can't figure out. I've tried redoing her facegen by copying her hair the way it is in KS Hairdos through the CK, among a couple other workarounds that have all come up duds. This doesn't seem to affect any other followers I've made either. The last thing I can think of to do would be to muck around with the scale of her hair/head in her .nif files but considering they work perfectly on the PC she's based on and that this isn't a problem with other characters I've made under the same process, I'm hoping I've just missed something that someone here could point out to me.

EDIT: Looking over some old images, it only seems to have become a problem once I applied the "scalp" that KS Hairdos makes use of. Which I had to apply to fix a different issues where you could see through the hair to a partly bald scalp.
