Hey guys, does anyone know what is causing this skin bug?

I have tested CBBE and Bodyslide and I am sure the body mesh is being made. I deleted the texture files and the body started using vanilla textures. When I installed the female textures I got what you see there... what did I do wrong?

The body used and the textures applied don't match.

If it's a CBBE body, just reinstall the CBBE textures.

If it's a vanilla body, some CBBE textures are in your data directory and taking priority over the vanilla ones that are in the textures.bsa file. You'd need to remove the CBBE textures in this case, otherwise the vanilla ones in the textures.bsa won't be shown as any textures you have in \data\textures will take priority.

If it's a custom body/skin mod, the textures for the custom body might not have installed* or the mod doesn't have them applied correctly - typically wrong paths in their .esp file.

*  Some mods and mod manager programs don't always copy all the files, just open you zip/rar file and move those manually to:

Textures - Data\Textures\actors\character\basehumanfemale

Mesh (.nif file) - \Data\Meshes\actors\character\characterassets

--

You say you used Bodyslide, make sure that femalebody.nif file is actually in the \Data\Meshes\actors\character\characterassets. If you clicked the control key while pressing the build button, the femalebody.nif will not be placed in the correct directory and instead will be placed at Data\Tools\BodySlide. If this is the case, just move the femalebody.nif to the \Data\Meshes\actors\character\characterassets directory.
