Nichoice Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 When ever I disable the DLC I am getting missing textures. I can't figure out why.  I am using MO2 and all the vanilla files are there, so none should be missing. I have the vanilla textures optimized and I eve tried replacing the original ba2 files but to no avail.  Anyone know what is causing this?Â
legacyslayer Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 i would try to Validate the file via Steam, it will download any missing vanilla files, make sure to backup all your .inis because it might replace those as well
Bruce Banner Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 My guess is that something in your ini files is still pointing to the Hi Res DLC ( not sure what because I dont have it installed ) . So scan your ini files for any references to the Hi Res DLC and if you find anything and it says ' true ' or ' 1 ' for any reference to said DLC then switch it to the opposite ( ie ' false ' or ' 0 ' ) and hopefully the game will read your vanilla files as normal .
skyrimsucks Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 why would u download 60 gb of crap dlc when there are superior texture replacers that take less than 10% of that dlc size? organizers are unreliable as they are not programmed to predict all possible problems. look at your plugins.txt file.
