Arakasu Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 I guess I'll start with the obligatory load order, even though I'm certain that that isn't the issue here. I recently rebuilt my Skyrim Data folder from scratch to restart my playthrough. Last playthrough I used the Clams of Skyrim body for most of it, I also messed around a bit with the CoS + Lush hybrid body and both were working just fine. This run through I went with the CoS + Lush body, and I get some issues with armor which would be better viewed than explained. This is what my character's body looks like, at 100 weight. This is what it looks like after putting on the Brazen Dragon armor. It's doing this with all armors I'd wager (I tested it with a few others as well), but it's a lot more noticeable on this one. I'm trying to debug this, I think it's some sort of issue with CoS, CoS + Lush, and Bodyslide but I don't want to try and pick it apart. I've tried removing and reinstalling the files for both bodies to no avail. I'm not too sure what's causing it this time, since like I said before I did this before and it worked fine. It also doesn't help that I deleted the old Data folder so I can't even salvage anything.

Or it was not properly done for this particular body. If the preview in Bodyslide shows the armor fitting correctly though, try to check if the selected installed body type from COS installer is the same bodytype as the one you are building right now. There is, however, one other possibility. It would be that your armor bodyslide file is a non-hdt one. I had this once and it didn't move along with my hdt body parts (although I'm not too certain about this one).

It's literally 3am as I type this so I was expecting a few more hours on the wait. I will have to rule out that second possibility. While the Rosa/Brazen armor does have a non-HDT version, I specifically went for the HDT one, same for the armor replacer and I think all the other armor mods I have installed aside from maybe Unslaad. There is a very high chance that I did the bodyslide wrong however. I did hit the CoS body when doing the initial batch build (which is for people to have CoS for whatever other body type they were using, I just went for raw CoS just to cut out the middle man) and that may have screwed things up, but not too sure. What I mean is, just like CoS has a preset it also has a body of it's own for modifying with other presets. That's all I can think of but I'd rather try reworking this after I get some sleep. Thanks again, Nammy.

Thanks again, Nammy. I haven't used CBBE side of Bodyslide that much yet (only UUNP). Are there also multiple "body types" that you can build there too? For example, in UUNP side, I could build UUNP 7B Bombshell with either: UUNP Special, UUNP HDT, UUNP NeverNude, or normal UUNP Perhaps there's a CBBE HDT or CBBE Special??? You didn't mention this yet, so I'll put it forward quickly as: You can't always trust Batch Build. There are multiple options, depending on installed files, that are automatically selected as 'default' based on alphabetical order. And sometimes, those options aren't the ones you want. (Of course, this isn't crossing out a wonky installation as you mentioned, or a messed-up bodyslide file) Another problem I've recently found out are plain screwed-up HDT xml files in data/skse/plugins. It's either rigs can't handle the hdt physics config, or it is just buggy within the game. Try removing them or installing a more natural or softer hdt config to see if it fixes your problem. Also can't cross out the possibility that your armor mesh points to the wrong hdt file. And if all else fails, also try installing another femalehead.nif that is attached to HDT. It supplies the effect to all parts of the character body without Havok Object or even an HDT supported outfit. (Gamefever on nexus posts a lot of these in his Optional Files section)
Arakasu Posted May 16, 2017 Author Posted May 16, 2017 After extensive testing/uninstalling/reinstalling I've just decided to scrap the whole COS + LUSH body. Strangely enough, with COS + LUSH the breasts shrink when using both the Brazen Dragon Set and the Dragonbone Barbarian Set, but it works just fine with the Giant Cloth Set (though there's still an issue where it messes around with the arms and armpieces just clip into the wrists/arms), but with just standard COS (i.e. COS without applying a changing the meshes to a different body type) it just doesn't work like it should. I actually downloaded the LUSH body and added the presets into Bodyslide, that fixed the problem with the Dragonbone Barbarian armor, but it's still not working for the Brazen armor. Most likely I'll just have to scrap it which is a shame, but maybe one day I'll be able to fix it (though I honestly doubt it). More likely I'll just have to find a similar body type to build all the armors for.
