Making Skysight Skins and Schlongs of Skyrim Work Together

Recommended Posts

Hi, guys!

So, I'm currently using an awesome (and very popular) male body mesh and texture called SkySight Skins: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58443/?

Unfortunately SkySight Skins is not compatible with SoS out of the box. I thought I could remedy this by:

1) First installing SoS via NMM

2) Installing SkySight Skins via NMM, then overwriting all SoS textures and meshes EXCEPT for the SoS underwear

I'm about halfway there; my male characters no longer have the white loin cloth underwear that comes with Skysight, but now they have this weird black mesh/fishnet-looking speedo underwear, like a skin texture is missing or something is overlapping with someone else, either something doesn't look right. :(

I was wondering if anyone either:

1) Has gotten SkySight Skins to work successfully with SoS, and if so, how did you go about accomplishing that?

2) Has any suggestions on how to make the two work?

I feel like I'm 95% of the way there. My characters have the right SHAPE of the pelvic area and butt, and SoS is functioning as intended, but that weird black mesh/fishnet speedo thing I have no idea how to get rid of. I definitely don't expect Skysight Skins and SoS to work perfectly together (I anticipate there will be seam issues), but I'm totally fine with having seam issues. I would just like to get rid of the weird black mesh/fishnet speedo thing.

Thank you guys!!!

You have to edit the nif files. The correct textures are inlcuded with sos but for some reason the underwear are set to use nightingale armor textures.

The underwear mesh is here... meshes\actors\character assets\

Textures is here... textures\actors\character\male\
