wishbone346 Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 I'm having some serious sound issues with Skyrim. I recently updated Climates of Tamriel from version 3.1 to version 5, and while the improvement visually is great I soon realized that the new version didn't include sounds. I'd become very accustomed to the sounds of the cities and whatnot that the mod added so I tried using the old sounds .esp for version 3.1 but it had no affect. I then found the website of the mod http://climatesoftamriel.skyrim.modunion.com/ (orat least I believe it's the official website of the mod) which in its download section had a sound file for the mod. However, this did not work either. I've tried moving them around my load-order and installing/uninstalling many times but nothing seems to work. I'm also unaware if this has anything to do with the mod or my issue but I've also been experiencing a lack of music and the discovery sound in Skyrim for a while. I assumed it was part of Climates of Tamriel, but with the sounds from that mod no longer working I'm beginning to question it. The only other mod I have that is supposed to change sounds is Improved Combat Sounds, and I don't think it's responsible. I moved the .esp for Climates of Tamriel sounds to the bottom of the list while trying to get it to work (it was originally up with the other Climates of Tamriel .esps) so if your advice is to move it back up with them I'm afraid that is ineffective. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated as it's a huge deterrent from playing the game.
