3dsmax 2015 issues

Hey,

 

I am having issues with 3ds max 2015(specifically nifs).  I have installed the nif importer/exporter according to the readme and triple checked file paths.  However, textures wont load on anything I import(even non-nif files).  How can I get them to start showing up?
