First it should be noted that you cannot directly edit Fallout4 Esm this way, or atleast you should not. instead you will create a new Esp

Open the Fallout4 esm in FO4Edit, find the ArmorAddon for KnightLancerArmor, Right Click this entry in the [Name] column and select "Copy as override into" then check the box that says "New File" and click Ok. Then type the name of your new esp (Ex- KnightJacket) and it will create a new esp. Next find the KnightLancerArmor in the Fallout.esm under the [Armor] category Repeat the same steps except copy as override into your newly created KnightsJacket.esp. Next go to your Esp and find the only ArmorAddon for KnightLancerArmor highlight it and it should show a window to the right. Look for a box that says BOD2 Biped Body template. there will be three boxes to either side, You want the box under your new esp(You may have to scroll right a bit to see it). Right click the third box in the Right column Under the First Person Flags (should have a number, probably 33) and select Edit in the drop down box.

A new window will open with multiple "slot" options. Uncheck whichever slots are currently checked and select "41".

Next repeat these steps for the [Armor] category in your Esp (The Biped object column is down a bit further on Armor, just look for First Person Flag) Finally simply [X] out of FO4Edit and make sure the box next to your esp is checked to save it. All you have to do then is enable your new esp with whatever mod manager your use (or in game with Bethesdas in game mod manager) and you should be good to go. Do note however, that this outfit unless modified may have sever clipping issues
