NVSE Co-Save not found error,

Okay, so after I had a crash where the game hung for about 10 min transitioning from a house to the openworld, I force quit the game.  When I tried to play again I got a message saying that my NVSE Co-Save is not found and that Sexout was re-initializing.  Since then this has happened with each reload, and none of the Sexout mods are working (can't initiate sex, pregnancy isn't advancing etc . . .)  This continued after making a new save with the same character.

 

What are the solutions for this?  do I have to uninstall sexout, make a clean save, and reinstall, or is their a quicker way to fix this?
