Lack of Speech

I don't know what happend but for some reason I can't talk to ANYONE while I'm gagged now.    It used to be that my companions would say "I understand you" but now I'm not even getting that and I don't know why.   Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it cause this is kinda ruining my gaming mood.   Please help.

Did you install Maria Eden by chance? that mod has different approach to DD and blocks speech completely.

If not - check gagged speech options in Cursed Loot if you have it installed.

I do indeed have Maria Eden installed.....is there any way to fix it?  I really like that mod and don't want to uninstall it,  but if I have to I'll say goodbye to it just so I can keep playing.

Unfortunately, there isn't… Maria Eden is best left for separate, dedicated playthrough.

I see,  thanks for your help,  I'm gonna uninstall it and see how it goes.    Maybe later I can revisit Maria.
