mijamt Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Early on I kinda figured Concord would become FO4s version of Riverwood as it is close to most players home base of sanctuary and has many doors that can easily be made to connect to interiors made by modders. I thought it would be a cool idea if the user could assign what door a given mods interior connected to ideally using one of those little windows that appear as you go to install mods in your manager of choice. I myself am not much of a modder, I've followed along with bethesda's tutorial for skyrim creation kit once though so I have a super basic understanding. I'm wondering how possible it would be to automate the part where you connect the door of your interior to a door in the world. If that's possible I can't imagine it being too much more difficult to set up a user friendly ui where the user can link doors from a mod to doors in concord This would allow a modder to create interiors for the start of their mods and not have to be overly worried about the location conflicting with another mod as the user could just attach it to a different door in the town. This is just an idea I had a long time ago, and i only thought of it again because I'm coming back to fallout after about 5 months of not playing and saw some shops and such on the nexus. If you happen to think you can do this and that its a good idea go for it! If something similar has already been done I guess I didn't find it while searching for mods today, and sorry for wasting time. Sincerely someone that's probably over thinking things.
