The above video mentions how in a lab setting, cannabinoids can be directly added to a sampling of human tissue containing both healthy and cancer cells, and the result is often dead cancer cells and living healthy cells. This is an experiment that actually goes way back for many years and has been replicated in many labs around the world, but rarely makes the news, nor receives more funding. It's a simple experiment that can be viewed easily under a microscope, which is probably why it keeps being done, yet the results are so hush-hush that when it's done again, it's often seen as a new discovery all over again! But the above video brings together much of that research and more into one excellent video. I've been following this research for a few years and was wanting to share and just today found this summary video when looking for something to post in another thread. Now, I'm thinking it's too important to be hidden in another thread so have given it its own topic.

LOL, funny! Although you may call me crazy yet...

I couldn't find anything very similar with onions and cancer. I found some research that showed a correlation with reduced colon and liver cancers that researcher believe to be related to phenols found in onions working as antioxidants but nothing extraordinary beyond a mere correlation in diet and reduced occurrence of 2, maybe 3, types of cancer. The theory is that antioxidants help reduce cellular damage inside the body caused by oxygen, (like when you peel an apple or banana and watch it oxidize, turning brown), so it's thought to maybe reduce cancer by preventing damage over time so that cells are less likely to become cancerous. It sounds like a good theory and all and likely has some truth to it, but it doesn't seem to have the clear cut and radical results such as found from in those experiments sited in the above video about another type of phenols called cannabinoids. Do provide links though if I'm missing something.

Btw, though the results of cannabinoids may be amazing, I don't believe in cure-all's or a wonder drug that can prevent diseases indefinitely because I don't believe in any mere passive solution to one's health for the long term. One must become actively involved and that's where most of the work is done toward health. Having said that, I suspect that cannabis isn't just a passive drug though. I'm not a dualist and don't see the mind and body as separate, so when I smoke I don't just see myself as feeling different but also believe that I am different. But saying more would be a wall text.

And, kids, too much of even a good thing is still too much. Don't overconsume anything! Consider that food is essential, right? Yet too much food can quickly kill you. Same with oxygen. Water, too. So don't become a daily pothead after watching the above video. Well, maybe if you're really behind in trying to get caught up, go ahead, but not for too long!

Oddly, people never realized this about smoking tobacco. Instead, tobacco, like other drugs, suddenly became bad after everyone was over-consuming and suffering. We still eat food even though over consuming it leads to more deaths than anything else in the US. I've actually found ample evidence from international studies that smoking tobacco in reasonable amounts may actually be more good for you than bad. No one is ever open to my saying that though because they already know for certain that smoking is bad! Tobacco companies = Satan!

Same thing: I was scanned, told by my doctor that I had many, many gallstones and that he was going to send me to a surgeon. (I don't like doctors, don't trust surgeons.)

I went home, onto the internet, looked up gallstone removal--found out that there was a pill in other countries that people could buy for about $80 for a month's supply--problem solved. No more gallstones.

I have lots of stories like that. Natural cures--no side effects.

I once had a gallstone problem that just went away. But it was likely related to my being fed intravenously for about a month after a car accident. I did have ONE doctor that I really liked because he didn't want to operate on me when I pushed for it! From the same accident, Dr Pepper (that really was his name) heard my cries of pain from bloating and the horrible pressure from fluids not making it through my intestines but wanted to wait a week or two to see if I could heal on my own. That part of me didn't heal, I failed! So he did finally operate.

Careful with that cough! I figure that if it feels like it is burning or hurts or causes me to cough uncontrollably, then I'm doing something wrong, probably just taking too big of a hit at a time. I just do light, slow, smooth hits and normally just two at the most. And no matter what I'm smoking, if I feel like it has caused congestion or lasting effects the next day, then I lay off for awhile. "Listen" to your response from what you're doing. Especially beware burning yourself on the inside. It's like when a dishwasher or cook trains their skin to hold hotter objects without getting burned, but they work up to it and still have a limit that if passed too often could lead to a worsening injuring.

Sorry, if I sound like I'm preaching what you might already know, but after encouraging such things I also want to be sure I'm encouraging them in a smart and intelligent manner. Plus, I know how easy it is to over-do something myself. Sharing from experience.

Is it just me or is cannabis becoming the world's topic? (It's still legal here just need a weed pass)

That some states have legalized it for medicinal use with a "weed pass" has not entirely stopped feds from enforcing federal law over those particular states. Some interesting stories there.

Where I live, it is still illegal for me according to my state because I'm of good health. It's also still illegal according to my federal government, no matter my health.

I live in holland where buying weed when you became 18 was just legal we can even grow up to 5 plants! but they now want you to get a weed pass only thing is... they find it wierd that there is a increase in illegal cannabis trade (since alot of around laying countries had citizens that visited us for a smoke)

Of COURSE they find it weird, goverments love to make shit illegal, then get suprised when the average person doesn't give a fuck, keeps doing it.
