tobleron Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Hello , i 'm making this post to mention that sometimes creating folders for the purpose to better arrange mods/cc in the game might affect their functionality . I recently renamed the WW mod folder to !!!WickedWhimsMod ,because after reading some topic i thought that would make the mod load first and prhps function better. Result was that some cmar mods i had inside another folder named body to stop working properly. Thanks to posts i was reading i managed to locate the problem, all i had to do was just remove the !!! from the WW folder name to make cmar mods work again ,if i remember correctly there is an overrides pack file that prhps was stopping them from loading So ,if anyone has the time and better knowledge of that naming "rule" ,i think it might help others in enjoing the content with less problems that could b caused by such Thanks again to the creators and everyone for providing so many technical info in posts and topics i think i saw a mod conflict detection programme being mentioned somewhere in the forum, can that locate name related conflicts as well??

Where did you find that piece of info? I would leave everything as it is, I'm pretty sure that if there was a way to make it load faster (and honestly TS4 loads fast already), TURBODRIVER would have implemented in it. Not to mention, anytime a mod got updated, if you have the wrong name, it will be harder to find the old version to delete (and you're ought to do it every time).

But the situation refers to arranging mods and a lot of ppl do create folders to put similar mods/cc inside => possible problems related to end user and not the mod itself
