Hentaimania 2 lovers Anmiations don't work?

I installed hentaimania since I heard it was a lot of fun, but now I've run into some trouble. Whenever the characters from it attempt to do anything from lovers, they sort of just stand there while the other character plays the animation. I was wondering if them having their own custom animations had something to do with this? If so, how should I fix it?

While this is happening, select the NPC in console and type in "update3d" or "reset3dstate" but without quotes.
