Guest kenmastery Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Would it be possible to use Outfit Studio to convert armor to the Alexander Race, if so could someone point me to a tutorial or give instructions on how to do so. Thanks
Alunder Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 It is possible to do the opposite of male to female character, however if you have a reference from Alexander's body mesh you can transfer to the program and adjust. It can also be done with Autodesk 3DS Max too, but can be por complicated. In case of Outfit 2, in my vast experience I still will not give you certainty, since the female body has a soft bone then it is complicated, but if you import a male body and armor so you can use the bushing and adjust the bones that are in trouble manually. Your biggest challenge will be to have to convert all kinds of armor to this type of body and consecutively some more detailed armor can bring more complex bone adjustments. Remember, or rather a tip that as the male character is generally more robust and has armors that cover most of the body is well probable that in most armors you do not need to save the reference of the body, in case you will import the mesh of the Alexander body only to adjuste the armor to the character, however when you save you will only have to worry about the parts that are exposed, such as wrists, shins and neck. A zap slider may come to help hide the body to avoid clippings. Recently for example I did the opposite I got a very robust male model armor and edited vertice by vertice cautiously, very delicate work through Bodyslide Outfit 2. I am still to confirm authorization with Zerofrost to bring this to the community. I'll show you a picture of the project, if I can, I believe you can do the reverse, if you take care of the time of bone distribution. DragonLord Armor - New Female Model Dragonlord Armor - Original Male Try something like Ounius tutorials, just to have a base.
