Bodyslide Preset Not Applying

Hey. Basically, it seems like the bodyslide preset I'm using isn't working. The sizes of my character are pretty natural but when I put some clothes on, it seems like they shrink or something? They clothes don't fit the shape of the sizes...

I was using CBBE before but the boobs and ass kept spazzing and I didn't know what to do so I switched to UNP.

Load order and mods below :

Basically, I simply want a body that can have some big curves, the ass and boobs bounce and the body looks "sweaty".

Honestly, I'm all fucked with the cbbe, unp, unpb, unpp, hdt and all that shit >_>

Thanks for the help.

I don't know everything about CBBE, UNP, UUNP, or Bodyslide & Outfit Studio, but what I do know is how to get it to work.

So you picked out a body you like, in this case it looks like you have UNP.

Then, it seems you also picked out a preset.  Whether you made the preset by yourself or you downloaded it from somewhere, doesn't matter.

Finally, the last part is getting clothes and armor to fit the body you selected.  In this case you have to find all clothes and armor that are specifically labeled UNP Bodyslide HDT, if you used CBBE then you have to do it likewise, but obviously you're using UNP, so therefore you must find UNP Bodyslide HDT... unless you're one of the adventurous types who uses a bunch of body types at once in their Skyrim.  That's just too much for me.

Again, these are called the bodyslide files and they are necessary to conform the clothes and armor to the UNP body preset that you chose.  It's not automatic like most people might think.  An extra step must be taken.  Thankfully, it's a small one.

A good example so you get the general idea is this website:  http://mitakusaner.blog.fc2.com/?tag=UNP.  Notice how there are several links to download the outfits?  That's because one link is normally to the original outfit's location -- AND -- the second link is someone who made a bodyslide file for the outfit so that other people can have the outfit fit their individual body presets.  Because, let's face it, almost everybody is using a different bodyslide preset.

To experiment, find a bodyslide file for an outfit you like.  Download the original outfit and also download its bodyslide files from that website I gave you.  Open them up with 7zip or Winrar and physically examine the contents of the folders.  You'll automatically start getting a better idea of how modding Skyrim's outfits is like.  When you're done looking at the files, INSTALL THEM with Mod Organizer.  Then open up Bodyslide & Outfit Studio (located in Skyrim\Data\CalienteTools\Bodyslide by default) and it's really easy from here.

Make sure the Outfit/Body tab up at the top displays the UNP body that you want to use in Skyrim.  Then make sure the Preset underneath is set to the UNP Preset you're using.

Then simply click Batch Build at the bottom left, look for the Bodyslide Files of that outfit you just downloaded.  Select them with a checkmark, and then press Build.  You're done.  Check your work by clicking Outfit Studio on the bottom right corner and open your outfit by clicking File -> Load Outfit -> click From File -> and then click Browse.

If you forget the name of the Bodyslide Files or you forget where the Outfit is located, remember that you can always open the mod like I asked you to do earlier and examine its contents.

Should be smooth sailing from here.  I've been able to find Bodyslide files for all Vanilla Armors and Clothing in my game (I use CBBE).  They exist but will take some time to gather.

Yo. How can I install the preset with mo? http://i.imgur.com/7JC5EXf.png

Nomrally I can just right click and set data directory, but it doesn't work with bodyslide presets... Anyway, I placed the files manually in my mod organizer bodyslide and did the batch build thing you told me about, but the sizes still don't seem to be right...

Also, the bodies get that when having sex : http://i.imgur.com/UTAisRi.png

Here's a gif of what I did : http://i.imgur.com/MGWCWDr.gifv

I normally install my stuff manually.  I guess, just look at the files in the preset and match those folders to your Skyrim installation.  Presets don't directly effect your game, they're only installed INTO Bodyslide & Outfit Studio.  Makes sense if you think about it.  To get a better idea, just open the preset you downloaded and look at its contents.  It should be self-explanatory from there.

As for the bodies during sex... LMAO.  Maybe run FNIS again and re-install a skeleton like XPMSE.

LMAO, Super Extra Booty Body.  Good name.  You were asking how to install the preset with MO so I told you to just match the files with your Skyrim installation directory.  Open the preset mod in one window and open your Skyrim installation in another window and use your eyes to make sure those files are inside your Skyrim installation directory, if it's not, then drag and drop them there.  That's what I meant by matching.

First off, use the 64bit version of Bodyslide & Outfit Studio.  I don't know if it matters but it's there, so might as well use it.

Remember when I said this:

"1.  Make sure the Outfit/Body tab up at the top displays the UNP body that you want to use in Skyrim.  Then make sure the Preset underneath is set to the UNP Preset you're using.

2. Then simply click Batch Build at the bottom left, look for the Bodyslide Files of that outfit you just downloaded.  Select them with a checkmark, and then press Build.  You're done.  Check your work by clicking Outfit Studio on the bottom right corner and open your outfit by clicking File -> Load Outfit -> click From File -> and then click Browse."

That link you gave me showed me that you only finished Step 1.  Try Step 2.  I've got them numbered now.  Also, for step 1, leave the Outfit/Body tab as the default UNP body.  Don't change it to WTF Yorha Dress.

How can I match it with my Skyrim directory? Bodyslide doens't even appear in my skyrim directory : http://i.imgur.com/Y9MGL6t.png

That's normal right? I mean mod organizer loads the "mods" folder or something?

Also, I do get 1 warning when running fnis. Where can I see that warning log? I didn't see it in the fnis folder.

And just to be sure, this bodyslide preset, it should be affecting any character I make right? Like if I make a female character, it should have that preset and all the other females in skyrim right?

LMAO, Bodyslide does appear in your Skyrim Installation Directory but since you're using MO, Mod Organizer just likes to put it into a different place.  Look carefully at the first gifv you sent me.  You were already clicking through the Bodyslide folder.  If you look at the Preset you downloaded and you look at that Bodyslide folder, you'll notice they have very similar folder structures... hmmm... hint, hint....

To alleviate more confusion, normally Presets go into Skyrim\Data\CalienteTools\Bodyslide\SliderPresets.  Tada!  But, again, since you're using MO, put those presets wherever the heck MO puts your folders.  Lol.  Mod Organizer does this for people who want lots of different profiles for their Skyrim.  When you create a new, second, profile for Skyrim, Mod Organizer creates a new place to store the mods for the second profile, which makes sense why MO does not put mods directly into the Skyrim installation directory like normal.

Yes, once you press the big BUILD button at the bottom then the bodyslide preset will be applied to all females of Skyrim... unless... you add new females/followers to Skyrim and they have their own body mesh folders which some mod authors like to create to be cute so then to solve this you just copy and paste YOUR body from Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets (or wherever MO likes to put it) to wherever the mod author created the new folder.  Again, this is why opening up the mod after you downloaded it and looking through the folder structure is important.  It gives you a sense of where things are and where you need to go to fix them if there's a problem.

Meh. It's still not working. I'll look into disabling a few mods and trying to go with cbbe again.

Lol.  It's no more complicated than downloading an outfit, then downloading a bodyslide HDT for that same outfit, installing both of those things, and then opening Bodyslide & Outfit Studio to Batch Build the outfit so that it fits your Super Extra Booty Body preset.  That's really it.

Maybe your problem might be that you don't know where to click your mouse or maybe Mod Organizer confuses you because it puts your mods in different places besides directly into the Skyrim Installation Directory, but whatever the case, let me know.  I'm playing Skyrim right now so I might not respond until later.

Of course, you can always read the tutorials, the forum posts, and watch the many videos.  I found those to be too situational and almost never a direct solution to my questions so they take a lot of time to decode and to understand but you have a lot of options.

Meh. I don't know anymore. I re-installed cbbe, bodyslide, xp skeleton, hdt physics, ragdoll and used a cbbe hdt preset and it still fucks up. The boobs and ass of my character keep spazzing out (like they're constantly shaking in an annoying manner).

I don't know anymore >_>

Well... did you re-run FNIS before hitting the launch button on your Skyrim?  With so much installing and uninstalling, you might as well run LOOT to sort your load order also.  These are not recommendations, they're 100% requirements.  Don't give up, modding Skyrim is easier than you think.

Oh yeah sure I did that. And no, modding Skyrim is not easy... There's always a problem. Sexlab wouldn't work unless installed manually, I can't install Schlongs of Skyrim or my game doesn't start, always got ctd's when I had another version of Mod Organizer, the fucking tits and ass of the characters are spazzing out, etc.

It definitely is not easy for someone new...

LOL.  Like I said, don't give up.  Sometimes it's faster to just push everything off the table and start with a clean slate.

lol

thing is, this was supposed to be the "clean state". I had done everything a few days ago and I had trouble. Re-started from the beginning and still got some weird shit lol

Young Padawan, the secret to modding Skyrim is the folder structure. Knowing where the files are and which folder they go to is the key to solving many of the problems you will have with modding Skyrim. It all comes naturally as you download mods you'll start noticing a pattern when you examine a mod's contents. You'll see.

Alright I'll try another fresh install again... I'll go all manual installation.

The thing I really don't understand is the overwrite bullshit. How can I know which one should be overwriting the other? What's the install order for hdt boobs colision?

>_>

Thanks for the help bro.

You're welcome. For boob collisions, logic would mandate you install that HDT stuff after you install your CBBE or UNP body... or whichever body you decide on. Use this bouncy mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78447/?

It's hassle free and includes havok collision especially useful during Sexlab scenes. Yes, overwrite everything assuming you picked the correct version and also rebuild the female body with that giant BUILD button just to be sure.

Just did a fresh install with only the needed mods for hdt collision... Now I get some bullshit with my mod organizer : mod organizer failed to spawn loot or skse or fnis parameter 87...

What's your Mod Organizer's version?

Sorry, I don't use Mod Organizer.  I install my mods manually.  I think Mod Manager is a great program but I have no need for all its bells and whistles.  Also, the error you have seems to be related to SKSE not being installed THROUGH Mod Organizer.  I believe SKSE must be directly integrated into Mod Organizer... just like how other things like Bodyslide & Outfit Studio are integrated into Mod Organizer.

Using an older version of mod organizer made it work. The CBBE bodies work for some characters and it doens't for other. I am suspecting that this is because they don't have the cbbe hdt armor (even though I got the mod). I guess those "bartenders" that have some very basic clothing are not considered as "armors".

Anyway, so far it's working great. I'm making a backup of my skyrim folder and I'll proceed with the graphics.

I'll keep ya updated. FYI, I think the reason the boobs and ass were spazzing was because I didn't have the right skeleton.

I had this one : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800/?

Instead of this one : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000/?

Probably why it was fucking up.

Funny you mentioned the skeletons just now. I just helped someone yesterday by telling them to go from XP32 to XPMSE. I should've told you also! Lmao!

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/75085-body-slide-crash/

So far, it's mostly working properly. However, I'm having a lot of trouble with the devious devices. I'm trying to use captured dream and be the captured dream's master slave but the she stops the dialogue at some point and nothing happens... Can't move my character or anything, and the master isn't moving either.

Rather annoying lol

Using bodyslide with MO? check that it hasn't dumped the meshes into your skyrim directory instead of /overwrite/. It's been doing that to me for a bit. And by that I mean it puts a meshes folder directly in the skyrim install directory, not even in data.

Thanks, but the bodies now work. I just gotta get the captured dreams mod to work properly
