Finally got my game working smoothly with SL/DD/CL/HDT/ETC!

I've been playing around with Skyrim for a couple of years now and have spent most of that time modding the game and trying to get over 200 mods and 7000 animations to play nicely together.

 

Some of the hardest-to-wrangle mods I've got include Sexlab for humans, animals and monsters. HDT physics. Defeat. Prison  Overhaul. Death Alternative. A host of Skooma-related mods. Slavery and prostitution mods. Deviously Cursed Loot for him and her. Purity II. Better Docks with Realistic Bobbing Boats. Birds and Elks and making animals and dragons behave appropriately. Bathing in Skyrim. Camping. Working genitals on everything adult. Fugly NPC improvements. Lighting. OMG the lighting. 

 

These things did not want to happen together, especially the Sexlab + Devious Devices, which caused many crashes for me. Now thanks to many hours of reading helpful tips all over the web (especially here on LL!) I managed to finally get the game up and running. I played for 3.5 hours straight without a single crash, stutter, freeze, or major glitch. 

 

In addition to being blown away by how cool everything looks and sounds, I noticed a few interesting things. One of the innskeepers didn't show me to my room. I've seen a few NPCs being lazy where I never used to. Instead of always doing chores or playing tag, I see people leaning on fences or wandering down to the river. Saw one guy wade right in and go swimming. I saw a duck with 2 babies following it. The last baby got distracted and wandered away from the line. An NPC startled it and it went running to catch up to its family. 

 

The funniest thing I've seen so far was a hunter elf who was bow-hunting a rabbit. Meanwhile, sneaking up behind him was a sabrecat. I probably should have done something but the Darwinism at play was too amusing to interrupt. 

 

I can't wait to see what else happens! Forget saving the world from dragons. I want to visit the Skooma den in Solitude!
