Mud Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 So I'm trying to create followers for the MMD Anime Race, but this necessitates something I've never done before. Since anime characters tend to have more cartoonish proportions when it comes to things like neck width, leg-to-torso ratio and such, the race looks a tad odd out of the box without RaceMenu editing or a custom skeleton. For a player character RM is easy enough to use, but I don't have that luxury for NPCs, and I'm a bit confused on a few parts. So, please take a look at these screenshots of one of my presets: Taking this to edit the skeleton for the follower, I was operating off the assumptions that: - Each of these sliders corresponds with a similarly named bone such as NPC L Clavicle - The sliders that default to a setting of 1 with the slider about a third of the way across can be emulated by changing the corresponding bone's scale to the same number - The bones that seem to be doubled up, like the spine bones there, are controlled by the "NPC" bone for the main one and the "CME" bone for the "length" sliders So first off, are these correct? In addition, these parts get muddy: - Some bones such as those Spine Length bones there do not start from 1, but 0. Moving the slider towards the left changes the value to a negative number. What am I supposed to edit for these? Obviously I can't be simply editing the scale for these, the bones don't start with a scale of 0 and negative scales aren't going to work, not unless I wanted to make some kind of horrifying contortionist. Near as I can tell Spine Length, Upper Arm Length, and Fore Arm Length sliders have this problem for me. Am I supposed to translate these bones' posiitons? - Whether I'm right or wrong about "NPC" bones being the main bone above and "CME" bones controlling length above, I see four Spine Length sliders and only three Spine bones in the skeleton: Spine, Spine01 and Spine02. Which bones am I supposed to edit for Spine Length? (Also am I correct in the first place about not being able to export the body scale settings to an NPC?)
