Jakub_Daviau Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Hello, I have been searching for cool male robes/clothes for mage or armour for skyrim and I had an idea but I cant do it myself since I don't know how and all. In Dragon Age 2 there is robe for mage Hawke named "Robe of the Notorious Pirate" and I would want to port it from dragon age 2 or to make/find something similar. Does anyone seen robe like that for skyrim? Also I wondered, is "borrowing" meshes, armours and such from game to another ok? Here is link to article about that clothing piece on Dragon Age wiki ( with picture of it ): http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Robe_of_the_Notorious_Pirate Also i would be interested in this piece for men if it would be possible: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Vestments_of_Sacrifice
Venarge Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Well, this borrowing is actuall illegal. But you dont use it for commercial stuff so most time, nothing happens. But sides like the nexus are afraid of consequences. Thats why stuff from other games will be deleted.... And the authors get a ban sometimes. Here you can find stuff from other games. I would recommend you this thread: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=7779 Awesome stuff from DA2. Maybe you could ask the author for your wishes =) greetz Venarge Oh and welcome to LL ^^

And actually I already saw that thread and I also asked author if she could help few days ago but I haven't heard anything since so I guess she's not interested And Thank you for the greeting, I'm new to LL as you noticed
Venarge Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Yeah if you would do it for yourself i think no one would say anything. ^^ Dont be afraid to much They wont come to your home and search for their meshes in another game xD Its just the fear most people have about the companies being upset and send them their lawyers^^ Experiment with other meshes and try to make new stuff =) Well I hope you get your armors. I would try to convert them but I dont have DA-> no meshes >.< Hope you enjoy the lab. You can find so many awesome things here. I love the ogres ported from DA to skyrim. They fit so much into the game
