ENB Problems, red flashes

Okay, so I'm trying to perfect my ENB to my tastes for Dawnguard. I've been having this problem for months. What happens is once in a while when I get into my game there will be red little flashes of fuckery, sometimes all over the screen, sometimes tiny, sometimes none. It happens with every ENB pretty much. To get rid of it, I do ctrl+alt+delete and go back into my game and it's usually gone but sometimes I have to do it a couple times. The really weird thing is that often when I task back into the game my character's face will be black and I have to do "sexchange" twice in the console to return to normal (i don't mind this bug as much as the red flashing and how inconvenient it gets after a while).

 

Here is a really minor example, it's usually all over my screen but I guess this is enough to explain.

 

 

 

It looks sort of like a lens flare issue..? I've tried looking around for answers but it seems I'm the only one with this problem. ;( I'm using Jasmin Cinema Update, simple borderless window (windowed fullscreen), no realistic lighting mods, and my card is an ATI Radeon 6990.

I very occasionally get a weird flash of some kind on the screen, but it's ultra-fast, & doesn't stick around to be photographed. I was assuming it is because I have the game modded up the proverbial quoit.

 

I have also experienced weird blackening of skin textures at times. I have found that this *seems* to occur when the game has not synced itself properly with Steam. I usually have to delete the last couple of saves to get rid of it (it may somehow be the "autosaves" that are being corrupted in some way - not sure). I can't recall if it happens on my laptop playing "offline" - I'll check in coming weeks.

well, i suppose i can handle it for now. i found the flashing fix, which basically is completely turning off AA, which i refuse to do i can handle alt tabbing a few times to fix it, i guess. not too sure why i am the only amd user having red/green flashes all over my screen like paint splatter yet alt tabbing fixes it.

 

oh but I just went from the ATI 12.6 driver to 12.7 beta and had a ridiculous performance increase and it made overclocking more stable for me, can play ultra settings with high jasmin ENB and the hi-res texture pack ^^

 

the steam/black face issue makes sense. it's really pretty annoying, i feel like i don't even own the game. i looked around and saw other people had this issue too, hopefully someone can get a fix soon because i dislike using the console so much, it corrupts my saves sometimes =/
