Guest Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Hi LL comunity, this post is only to give attention to the skyblivion mod that aims to import Oblivion into the Skyrim engine in the form of a mod.The mod's authors aim to combine the best of both games mechanics to deliver the best experience to the players.Skyblivion is at an alpha stage of developement (late zlpha as i see it,not just concept but rather progressed)) but great breakethroughs have been made in 2016.Speculated time of release is in 2018.As of right now, the team has requested the help of more scrippters,3d modellers,3d animators and texturists since despite the fact that the pacing of the mod's developement is well established and the core modding authors are deticated to finish the project,people contributing always come and go.The mod is being developed in the 32 bit version of the game because the 32bit version of the creation kit is more stable,but after finisbing they aim to port it into the 64 bit too!Best part of it all is that they are working having in mind compatibility with many skyrim mods like skyui, frostfall, fnis etc leading to the understanding that many LL based mods are probably going to be compatible too.In LL reside many talented modders that would prove great assets to the mods developement and finalization.I have nothing to do with the mod's developement nor i am a modder, though i ve been a part of this community since 2011 and have never read anhthing about skyblivion in LL.I just want to see this mod finished and play with it Whoever takes interest in skyblivion should rush to rebezize's youtube channel for more info and to offer support in any form!! ---edit--- Now that i 'm back from vacation and in front of my pc i can link a few previe videos that show what's being done, what's being worked and what needs to be done so here it goeshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dW4L7i-J7k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJUfQK18cRg

For the sake of my sanity I'm just going to assume it's all vaporware for now and get on with my life. Sorry to be so unsupportive, I'm not trying to be mean . I promise you though, the minute one of these projects actually bears tangible fruit I'll be all over it like a wet dress.
Guest Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Well,speaking for myself,as far as i can tell skyblivion is far beyond the point of just being a proof of concept.They actually seem to have implemented most of the stuff needed for actual gameplay.Mechanics are being worked and vanila npcs and creatures are mostly done, they work on animating them oblivion style.Anyway, they claim that the work is being done and are fairly optimistic for a release date somwhere in 2018 according to the workflow as it is being done as of yet,though, more workforce is always welcome since ot compresses time sqeuduals. Anyway, i am fairly optimistic about it
