002---h Files? copies or..?

I have alot of these files, and ingame they show up as the EXACT same costume making selection alot longer and tedious.

But I think some modders here use them for different colours etc..? 
So how come for alot of mods im not seeing a single difference/douple copy.

it just a under wear file.

Yes, most of those files are changing the underwear of the character. 

 

You can see it when you play with two of the same outfit in the versus mode and take a look under a dress for example.

Ahh I see. I ended up cut and pasting most of them out of the folders since it reduced selectable costumes by half sometimes!
 

Would that mostly be only colours or also actuall different underwear? for example briefs, thongs etc. can the model change too?
