Help they're killing my kids!

So I use Tamago an Hiyoko for pregnancy and stuff.

I stopped trying to get pregnant some time ago, but finally it happaned. I had the kid and it was all flowers and happiness until I visited a city.

For some reason all the ncp have some strange desire to kill my kid.

 

So I have 2 questions.

 

Is this normal or am I missing something?

 

Is there a way to interact with the kid? Because right now all he does is follow me around and I really can't tell him what to do.

If the child has a parent belonging to a DARK (bandit, vampire) faction this can happen as the child joins both the player faction and the faction of it's other parent.

Btw. If you have a child that turns aggressive you can change it using the console

Click on child and type "Kill"...cruel I know but makes it easier. now while still clicked onto the child type the following. SetAV Responsibility to 100 SetAV Aggression to 0

 

Once that's done just type resurrect to bring the child back to life.

His father was a bandit I think and I went to prison a couple times already, it was probably that.

Anyway I was able to solve it through the console.

My kids used to get killed all the time, even though neither mother nor father were bandits. The one that hurt the most was when Ursanne Loche (the widow in Bravil) bore my dog a cute little puppy. A miniature doberman, IIRC. I didn't know she was cheating on me with the dog!!!, but it was cute and, after that whole "Aleron" fiasco, I let it go.

 

The puppy followed her to the Bravil Chapel, and everyone in there turned on the poor thing and killed it. Needless to say, there were very few people left alive in Bravil before I exited and reloaded and older save...

 

Another time, I was the proud father of a handsome young lad. Wanting to teach him how to be a man, I led him down into Dzonot Cave. Oops. Callibel never forgave me for THAT lapse in judgement.
