Do other Desert Eagle mods let youdown? Limit you to just a simple "silver" or "gold" finish? Inaccurate portrayals of caliber selection? You're just installing reflex sights or a scope. If so, carry on!Calibers!Four flavorsof killing power to choose from, all ammo comes included in this mod as a standalone.****I will be doing a calibers patch later.357Magnum.44 Magnum.440 Cor-Bon.50 Action Express.357,.440 and .50 have been added to the leveled lists via scripts. Most mods are visual, and the performance mods mainly effect the pistol's effectiveness in vats.Oh, and you can has extended mags!Balancing? At early levels these pistols can be significantly OP, but as you progress they begin to normalize.I did not like Bethesda's damage modification, so I've balanced the Desert Eagle damage output against fullyupgraded vanilla weapons. The only way to alter damage output withthis weapon is to change calibers and take perks..357 Magnum does 63 damage.44 Magnum does 110 damage.440 Cor Bon does 130 damage + 5 points to armor penetration.50 Action Express does 155 damageCustom Animation! This mod uses Shiney Haxorous' reload animation. It is optional and Desert Eagles are defaulted to vanilla animations for compatibility reasons, you can choose to change between vanilla reload animations or the custom reload animation at the weapon's bench.Unique Variants!Soda's Pistol - A one of a kind NCR Ranger Sequoia themed Desert Eagle pistol chambered in .440 Cor-Bon*Does 25 Armor Penetration, and significantly more limbdamage."Jack... The Reaper" - An old Desert Eagle pistol with imbued with the spirit of the reaper, chambered in .357 Magnum* Features artwork by David Hopkins, requires less AP in vats, does more critical damage, recharges critical meter faster.** If this gun is in your inventory when you're at the weapon's bench, it unlocks the "Jack... The Reaper" grips for normal Desert Eagles. So... Who's Soda? You might be asking, especially ifyou've downloaded my reskin of asXas' M1 Garand. “Soda's Rifle”http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21795/The treasure hunt will explain! Followa trail of discarded holotapes left behind by a pair of adventurersfrom a few years before your tenure in the Commonwealth. Be lead to,TWO unique Desert Eagle pistols as the story unfolds!*This treasure hunt was designed withknowledge of the Commonwealth in mind, it is challenging and requiressome basic reading comprehension to complete. Or just dumb luck! Noneof the items are hidden behind quest trickery, everything exists inworld and it's entirely possible to find both unique Desert Eagleswithout ever finding even the first holotape. Misc I have included a holotape called “AcoE: RELOADED!!!” that has someuseful information inside it, along with hints to help you along yourjourney in finding these discarded holotapes. Known Issues Themod does have a few minor bugs that I have not been able to work out.PreviewWindowsForsome odd reason when inspecting certain finishes, the preview windowdisplays them incorrectly. Mainly this effects the matte finishes anddisplays them polished. This only happens when inspecting thesepistols from an inventory screen such as from your pipboy, a vendoror container.KillBash Animation BugWhenusing the custom animation option with this mod, the kill bashanimation is bugged, for the equipped Desert Eagle. It simply refusesto play and you're sent back to normal combat.
