Mirage_Mic Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 As a striving game designer and programmer, I've had plenty of ideas over the course of my life, but one has struck me a bit lately and I wanna jump on this idea, but not without some input first. The idea in concept is simple as the question "What if Maple Story or LaTale were hentai games?" I have some, not much but enough, experience with Unreal Engine to make something basic for this, but I'd need more than just copy and paste LaTale or Maple Story in a sexy environment. I've also seen other hentai platformers like Corta's Platformer and Peache's Untold Tale, so this isn't too new of an idea. Here's how it will break down: Basic Platformer RPG mechanics. Sex scenes between enemy npcs and the player. Online capabilities to connect with between 1 and 31 other players via port-forwarding (Sorry, no MMO, but 32 players if you know enough people). Ability to activate sex between two players. Actual RPG story. Release alpha test I will be working on the alpha as soon as I get input on this being a good idea or not, so what do you all think? I'd also need some help with production since I'm not the best at drawing and I'm still new to unreal, only got major experience with Unity but after reviewing the ToS I feel Unreal would be a better engine. I'll do my best if enough of you are into the idea, but I don't promise release dates since I want to release a high quality project instead of a half assed piece of shit.

Also another idea, which can either be mixed with alucrads or just one for itself would be to make it a monster breeding/farming type of game like the now dead Breeding Season Idk just an idea

As for the breeding/farming styled game, that's actually one of the major ideas I was going to go for originally. Originally I was going to make a 2D Pornographic Harvest Moon, but something about platformer just seemed better to me. I'll see what I can do, fiddle with a few codes, maybe get a working alpha of the base idea ready in about a month. Thanks for the input.

I've made no progress on the project, but I'll begin work on a design doc, sprites, and basic code soon. After having about two months of thinking, I've decided to make it similar to Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, except with sex. I'm still juggling with a few ideas though to make it more interesting.
