DDS Images for Mods

Hi guys!

Does anyone know where I can find a good tutorial explaining how to create 2K or 4K .DDS images?

Or any forum or place with that kind of images?

I downloaded this   https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop    but using it without a tutorial is causing disasters.

Thanks.

Create a blank image in 2048x2048 resultion or 4096x4096 and there you go. But usually you will need a 3d model for that to paint that picture/texture. What do you exactly want to achieve?

Alternatively export a UVmap via blender/3dsmax/nifskope open via GIMP/Photoshop and have fun with it.

Just don't try to upscale from 1024x1024 textures to 4096x4096 and call it a *HighRes*, its terrible.

I want to put some of my original drawings in Skyrim clothes or in books.   :)  :P

Or some of my photos, I mean real photos of me.  :)

But I also want to put new textures to some armors that have textures that look ugly.

I use NifSkope and Photoshop, I guess that would be enough, but I did not understand your explanation.

I think that ... in one way or another, I did what you say, while I was testing, but the only thing I got was that the image was repeated hundreds of times on a mesh, and that's not what I want.
