Custom Races not working with BodySlide

Greetings, MO and UUNP user here.

 

Long story short, very recently I've decided to install the Custom Races mod to try and create unique characters separate from the body that was set by default for the rest of the world (vanilla races and npcs), however I've run into an issue that doesn't seem to have a definitive answer wherever I look.

 

In short, I have 7BO set as the 'default' body for NPCs and vanilla races, however I installed too a vanilla armor replacer and built it to use UNPB as it's default preset shape but allowed it to use the UUNP morphs, it successfully overrides NPCs yet adapts and scales to the 7BO of the player character... with a vanilla race, that is.

 

However I have tried to make a redguard unique character with Custom Races using KaosWulf's UNPFF and while the creation of the unique base body and textures are succesful, unlike with the vanilla races the armor simply won't adapt and in fact will override the body preset to that of UNPB or whatever is set of the armor chosen, even with UUNP morphs enabled.

I've heard about building the body preset in bodyslide and then applying it to the race but it hasn't worked so far, is there anyone that could help me with this issue?
