Guest Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I've been trying to make a custom version of the armor "Tribal Clothe", the top that is. http://mitakusaner.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-1482.html I started with the nif1 files. Did my customization, added the weights from my reference body (7B). All well. Now, this is where I probably went wrong. The customization takes a lot of time. So I figured I'd save some time, and just copy the finished nif1 file and rename it to nif0, and then did the following: * I removed all weights on the armor mesh. * Removed the reference body (which of course was a body1.nif) * and then add the new reference body0.nif and set it as reference. * add the weights from the new reference to the armor mesh. In game, my skyrim CTD when I try to put it on, or all polygons in the outfit goes crazy in game and fills my screen. Black screen has also happened. What did I do wrong? Is it impossible drag a outfit mesh from one nif file and over to another? Should I've exported the outfit as an object (before adding weights) and then start a new project with it? No matter what I do I can't seem to fix it. I've tried deleting all weights on the armor mesh and adding the new ones several times. Exporting as objects etc etc. No luck. I've attached the outfit file and the relevant referencebody. Hope someone can see where I failed. I really don't want to do all the customizations all over femalebody_0.nif Revealed Top_0.nif
Guest Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 It's so irritating when you find the solution yourself 20 minutes after a post. I decided to try a litt bit more. Then I noticed that miss silly had forgot that one of the weights, the belly, was present in the nif1 file, and not in the nif0. How it got deleted I dunno. Problem solved
Pickletape Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 You make the most powerful piece of clothing i have ever seen it so strong it breaks the game itself.
