Xenosnake Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Okay got an idea for, Assassins and thief characters. Its kinda weird for them to sneak around with bulky wide shields. So how a bout a special left gauntlet that acts very similar to a shield. Sure it wont be that as effective as a full shield when blocking range/magic attacks, but it will function as a full shield in close combat. and since its lighter and smaller it will be classified as light armor. d(' _' ) *For animation: Blocking= a normal 1 hand weapon block but with a full shield benefits. Shield Bash= to a left punch. *Shield effectiveness: 100% full effect in close range 25-50% effectiveness in ranged/magic atks So what ye guys think... :I And aye pardon my english \(' _'\)

sammythesquirrel Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 is there a stand alone of just the left gauntlet because that fist image of the left one looks like it will fit in very well with the black sacrament armor but the fight hand glove looks wrong

Vioxsis Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 When i finish the weighting/importing/testing/fixing/releasing bunaha (or what ever its localized name was) i will do a less quick fitting. but the textures are low res for the kaboto shell so idont know how odd it will look in game.
sammythesquirrel Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 as long as the resolution difference isn't too drastic it will make it look like its something that your pc has invented so if its a little rough looking it only adds to the realism that being said i am now eagerly waiting for you to get done with your current set ^.^

Do you think it needs straps or something? Hmmm.. where can i pilfer some straps... *edit* how about that *edit2* made some straps and used the knuckle for a buckle what to do for kabuto? hmmm.. *edit3* made a simple belt buckle, should i keep it simple or add a pin an some holes? *edit4* don't think i like it maybe leave it simple?

If you have an individual request for asset use please send me a PM. Most of the time I will say yes, but the exceptions are almost always: No re-use of my custom textures. No-remodded armor sets that are called "Black Sacrament" (if you plan on re-using parts of this mod, do so for your own armor and ask me first). "No re-use of my custom textures" the straps i made use his texture. i also don't want to PM him to use "his stuff" my head hurts *edit* both have been weighted and exported, where are we going from there?
