Hi all, just got back to skyrim after about a year of not playing one thing that has been really bugging me and I don't know if it's just the way the game is thats why I was hoping someone could clarify for me.

So basically say I'm using a bow, I kill a npc and when I go up to  there body for giggles I try to shoot a specific part of them but when I shoot the arrow ends up like a couple of inches to the left or right instead of landing where the crosshair is pointed.. I could aim for their foot and it would end up half way up the npcs calf or aim for the lower stomach arrow ends up in the chest. It's the pretty much same story with sword slashing.

Is this the way the game was built? because I really do not remember this.  I am using the original skyrim not the SE just so you know.

Sounds more like the work of mods. Arrows don't fly in a perfect straight line but there shouldn't be that level of inaccuracy.

Are you perhaps using something like Immersive First Person, which makes you use a jury-rigged first person created by sticking the camera in the third person model's head?

I'm not using any mod like that no. I think my load order might be the problem I'll go tinker with it some more ty for answer! : )

real close in shots have always done that, however, if I stand back a few yards i can put an arrow up a corpses asshole at will <as a side note, if you shoot a deer from behind the arrow almost always does an up da butt shot no matter what the distance <it was this occurance that made me try it on humanoid corpses>
