Althiya Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 I recently made a rather decent 3D face in a third party program (FaceGen), which I can export as an .obj file. Does anyone know a way to import this .obj head into racemenu instead of having to copy it over manually polygon by polygon using the sculpt tab? Maybe there is some way to convert the .obj into a racemenu-compatible .nif or something?
LuffMeister Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Short answer: no. Long answer: yes, but for a single head mesh, it's faster to sculpt in racemenu than to rig up the mesh and import. You'll need to rig the obj export, add all the various morphs and import. Even then, if the face isn't in a relatively neutral position, the morphs can screw up big time. I suppose you can skip adding morphs if you want to save time, but the face would then be static in game, no expressions, animations etc.
Kestrix Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 idk you might be able to use the script Blabba wrote for morphing heads to Citrus meshes in 3ds to apply to a nif.
