Can't get CBBE to work

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Most of my mods all work, but CBBE doesn't. Can someone please assist me in figuring out the problem and then recommending a fix?

did you installed the mod via NMM? did you build in the meshes with the including bodyslide tool?

I used NMM. I didn't do anything with bodyslide...

open bodyslide > select cbbe body for outfit/body > select a preset of your choice > click batch build

I'm trying to run bodyslide but I keep getting 'Failed to load Setup.xrc file!'

Why do I get an error saying "Failed to find game install" or "Failed to load Setup.xrc file."?
A: Run the official Steam launcher of the game at least once after installing it, so that BodySlide can find the installation registry.
If that doesn't help, you can set up the game data path in the BodySlide settings manually yourself. Try downloading and installing the mod with all anti-virus software disabled.
