No more mysteriously losing 20 units of weight in metal with Solid Dwemer bars, no more mysteriously gaining a unit from tiny discs of the metal.

 

Created to make the smelting mesh more with what made sense to me.

 

Requirements:

 

None to speak of.

 

Installation:

 

NMM having it active might not actually load it (currently investigating), if this happens go to C:\Users\(Account)\AppData\Local\Skyrim and open plugins.txt and put BDR_Better_Dwarven_Recycling.esp at the bottom.

The carry weight in the game is pretty strange.

How does one piece of firewood weigh 5x more than a solid metal ingot?

That's a whole different ball of wax lol. I just want it consistent for the same material.

 

I have an SE version too, but am busy troubleshooting it because it's interacting oddly with adifferent recycling mod I have. Some of the recipes in the smelter are just mine, some have both versions.

So, the SE version has taken on a life of it's own, it's evolving far beyond just Dwarven Metal Crafting. A disease which may spread to this one.
