Texture Issue

So, was walking around Alftand trying, and multiple times failing, to avoid dying by murdering Falmer before they murdered me, and noticed this little gem of an error.

 

Now that looks weird, but if I exit first person I'm bloody invisible except for a couple patches of my hair. And if I cast a healing spell my textures temporarily return to normal.

 

If I go into my inventory and mess with what I'm wearing my textures return to normal till I exit my inventory.

 

I'm not sure what exactly is causing it, but something is overwriting my textures, but not all the time, and causing a seriously annoying problem.

Are you running quite a few HD texture packages including skins?

Might be you're running low on VRAM 

 

Textures don't just swap out mid game.

Low VRAM normally presents as solid colour (normally black) or checkerboard,  textures.

 

Try going to the QASMOKE, remove all gear, switch for 1st person, run PCB save and load.

Gah, overestimated 32bit Skyrim, *reinstalls only culprits he can find off the bat that could be causing issue*... Nope... Dropped the only ones that were in 4k to 2k and no change.

 

It's just *weird* that I gain my normal texture and appearance literally every time some kind of effect covers my body. Glow from healing myself? Back to normal. jizz on my chest, back to normal. Anytime anything at all is different from the texture that's there, it's fine.

Weirdly I loaded an earlier save and the textures came back.

Ok...  So that fixed my issue of it, but then when I did a new save because all kinds of other mod-based weirdness was happening and I wanted to officially clear out old mods, this started happening.
